About Us

Nathan Copeland and Kristin Tejada-Copeland

Nathan served in the Presidential Honor Guard at the 3rd US Infantry in the late 80’s.  He’s performed over 1600 Full Honor Funerals for our Countries bravest soldiers and their families in Arlington National Cemetery as the Wheel Rider on the very prestigious Caisson.  He also served as part of the 101st Airborne Division and over the years to come he continued to serve his country in the US Army.

In 1997 Nathan began his career in the roofing industry selling roofs for a Roofing Contractor in Houston TX and in 1999 he obtained his Insurance Adjuster license and began working as an Independent Catastrophe Adjuster. His wife, Kristin Tejada-Copeland began working for the family business, Tejas Roofing and Contracting Inc, in her early years learning the ins and outs of roofing. She worked closely with her parents, Roland and Deborah Tejada, and gained the knowledge needed to move forward in her career.  She obtained her license in 2001 as an Independent Catastrophe Adjuster (IA) and both began to grow and gain the experience and knowledge that has made them successful at what they do today. They have traveled the US working as an IA during every major Hurricane since 1997 for many insurance carriers, assisting Insureds with their Property Damage Claims. They have an extensive background in Residential and Commercial construction and understand how to navigate the smallest to the very largest amount of damage caused by a leaky roof or a Catastrophic event.

The military background laid a foundation for Nathan that he has built upon. The military taught him discipline and structure that he follows to this day. Nathan and his wife have incorporated the structure from the military, their knowledge from their adjusting years and experience handling insurance claims into the way they run their business and interact with insurance carriers today.
